We've performed in most of the leading hotels in Kuala Lumpur, but for some reason shows at the Hotel Nikko stay in the mind. Maybe it's the Japanese buffet we get treated to when we perform there, or parking ourselves at one end of the ballroom entrance - not quite sure, but the Nikko has an atmosphere of its own. We've had some great nights there, and this was another one of them. We'd previously had a great night with the Barber group of Norway who'd hired us to perform at their annual dinner and I think we'd got this one on the strength of that. We also wrote a couple of songs for them ("Barber Boleh") and helped train a group of staff members to perform a couple of accapella numbers. Kudos to Barber.
